The BEST Drug Store Foundation Ever?!

On my recent trip to Barcelona I picked up Maybelline’snew Fit Me Anti-Shine Foundation Stick which launched fall 2013. The new formula comes in 12 shades from the Fit Me range by Maybelline. It comes in a plastic twist-up tube and consists of a gel foundation stick (which is the outside skin coloured area) and an anti-shine serum (which is the centre). Simply by testing on my wrist in the store, I fell in love with the finish, texture and coverage and ended up buyingTHREE!

Maybelline Fit me!

The texture glides on beautifully onto the skin and is very light-weight especially considering it’s a stick foundation. Its an oil-free formula which would work well on allskin types, especially since a lot of us have oily combination skins. It’s a natural to medium level of coverage, and I justLOVE the finish because it almost melts into the skin. It works well applied directly from the stick and then blended out with fingers. Its an effortless foundation that truly fits great as a color and for everyday use.

TIP: If you need more coverage, pair it with a concealer and set it with a powder if you have oily skin.

WHY YOU’LL LOVE IT

It’s one-step perfection. The first of its kind – lightweight gel stick foundation with an anti-shine powder core:

  • Powder core instantly dissolves excess oil.
  • For flawless, shine-free skin and tailor-made natural matte coverage.
  • Easy to apply and great on-the go.
  • Available in 12 oil-free shades.

By far one of the best drug store foundations I’ve used particularly because of its smooth finish, natural (but not overly natural) coverage and variety of shades. Recommended!
