Warmer weather is just around the corner !
There is good news for those who love less and easy-t0-wear makeup ! MAC breaks down the latest makeup trends for Spring/Summer 2015 to help us get ready for the best time of year. Perfect skin is big this season but in the most natural way, so say good-bye to heavy contouring and take a look at the 4 key trends of the season. Let’s get inspired!
Look #1 Re: view
This trend is focused on the eyes. It’s all about classic black eyeliner and thick spidery lashes. Liner is all or nothing! It’s worn in different ways – whether you prefer something more dramatic or super slim micro’ liner, the choice is yours. Mascara is the key focal point of the look with twiggy inspired chunky layered lashes. Lashes are long, clumpy and separated. Liner is worn classic – deconstructed, kitten liner, straight liner or half-way liner.
Look #2: Enlightened
I love this trend as it’s all about the GLOW! Spring/Summer ’15 is the season for radiance and shine! It’s futuristic makeup where foundation is minimal with focus on strategic concealing to make skin look perfect. Lift your features with highlighting without contouring (yes, minimal to no contouring this season). Use matte against textured skin glossy skin by wearing a bright colorful matte lip. Gloss is playing a major role in this trend, both on the skin, eyes or lips.
Look #3: Free Party
Spring/Summer wouldn’t be complete without a little bit of color. The Free Party look is a trend that “brings street style to field style.” Think effortless bohemian with washed out colors and freckled sun-kissed skin. It’s all about looking like yourself but fresher. Wear brown mascara, hints of mint greens and sky blues in the waterline or pops of neon on top and flush of blush it’s makeup undone.
Look #4: No Make-up
Embrace your bare face as au naturale is the look! Summertime healthy and radiant skin is the the focal point of this look so using more skincare products with concealer is it! Groom your brows to perfection and use care blend oil to highlight and create humid skin. Remember the 70’s with subtle placement of bronzer, golden sheen and freckles embrace them they are sexy!
Which of these trends do you prefer? What will you be wearing for SS15?
