New Matte Lipsticks from H&M Review

I have a personal obsession with matte lipsticks so when I saw these new matte lipsticks at H&M, I was really surprised to see them. There are 4 colors – A cherry red, a peachy nude, a bright pink and a deep purple. I like all the shades besides the nude, I found it to be too orange for desi complexions. I already have many reds and hot pinks (but these are great dupes for some of the higher end matte lipsticks so do check them out). The purple was my favorite and is the one i ended up purchasing.

Would highly recommend purchasing these lipsticks (and for the price ($5.95), you can’t go wrong!).  They have a sweet candy smell, which I’m not sure if I like or not but I do like the lipstick.  It isn’t drying like many matte lipsticks out there, it actually has a moisturizing effect on the lips.  The lipsticks have a nice smooth texture, are highly pigmented, long lasting (lasted me through a dinner) and most importantly the color payoff is stunning.  Love it!  Can’t wait to try some more products from H&M! Good job guys!
