Foundation Colors for Deeper Desi Skintones!

When buying a new foundation there are tons of things you need to consider -texture, finish, formula, budget all play a role in your decision-making process.  For deeper Desi skin tones however, finding the perfect base has a lot to do finding the perfect color before anything else.  For many of my deeper skin girls, they end up mixing foundations to create the perfect match waiting to find just one foundation that will actually match their skin.

I put together this list of foundation brands and colors to help you narrow down and find the perfect foundation for yourself.  Have a look below!

MAC MatchMaster Foundation

I know a lot of women of color say that they cannot find their perfect match in MAC’s foundations.  MAC released a newer foundation for women of color.  MAC’s Matchmaster foundation works completely different then the regular range of NC and NW foundations that MAC carries.  Matchmaster foundations work on a number system ranging from 1 to 11.5.  Check out the range I’m sure you’ll find one that matches your skin tone perfectly.

The foundation itself is excellent. It’s a liquid foundation with a light to medium build-able coverage.  It’s long lasting and blends well into the skin.

Bobbi Brown Stick Foundation

Bobbi Brown Stick Foundation are awesome! The texture, finish and color range is great and will work well with Desi skin.  Though this is a cream foundation it gives the skin a natural finished look.  Bobbi Brown overall is a range that suits Desi skin tones well.
