How to Match your Makeup to Spring Color Trends

Spring is here and it’s time to pull out your pastels, neon’s and white outfits. In the spirit of spring, wearing bold-colored clothing or neutrals is so much fun.

But the real question is: How do you wear the RIGHT makeup that will compliment your clothing without looking too overdone or washed out?

Spring Look #1: Sky Blue

Sky blue is hugethis spring: from accessories to jackets sky blue looks beautiful with Desi skin tones. Tho it’s a beautiful color the questions is how would you apply your makeup so you don’t look washed out?

When wearing sky blue, shy far away from matching eyeshadow. Choose colors that would compliment the clothing and the spring weather.

Choose neutrals, like bronzes and beige’s on the eyes paired with a nude or soft pink lip.

To play up the look, go for a bold orange or peach lipstick as it would compliment blue beautifully.

Neons are still a hot trend for spring/summer 2014. Neons are bold, fun, and playful color that will get you noticed. Let the clothing be the focal point of your look by keeping the makeup colors minimal. This would be the perfect time to try nudes and naturals.

White to spring, is like Black is to winter. All white is so classy and chic: definitely a true representation of spring. The beauty of going all white is that you can pretty much wear any makeup colour you please. Be a fashionista by wearing pastel peach makeup – which would not only compliment spring, but also look amazing with a tan.
