There are many contributors that affect how your hair looks, they are:
Hair type: People vary in their hair types so it’s obvious that everything would have a different impact on everyone.
Genetic: Somethings are genetic. People inherit them from their parents or family for example – if your parents have thin hair, so would you.
Life style: Life style is an important factor that can affect your hair. If you have a job where you have to work on field then it’s obvious that it would affect your hair.
Stress: Stress can adversely affect your hair. A variety of stressors may cause your body to undergo hair loss.
Seasonal: Seasons also have an impact on your hair. And also if you move from one country to another climate , that affects your hair too.

How to Protect your Hair?
Exercise & Diet
I exercise on a regular basis, it increases blood circulation and gives my hair a good supply of nourishment. Hair health is a reflection of how healthy or unhealthy your life is. The most effective home treatment for hair care is a healthy diet.
You are what you eat, and what you put into your body will be reflected on the outside. so I eat healthy food especially food that contains folic acid because folic acid promotes hair growth by renewing the cells that grow hair. A deficiency in folic acid can inhibit the health of your hair and lead to premature graying and hair loss. Food like dried beans, lentils, split peas (dhals), almonds, nuts, oranges, peaches, spinach and many more help hair stay healthy. I also consume fish because it has omega 3 and is very healthy. Another important thing is that I drink lots of water which keeps my skin and hair hydrated.
On the advice of my doctor I take perfectil because certain nutrients are of great importance to help maintain healthy looking skin, hair and nails in both women and men because they are delivered via the bloodstream, at the very deepest level. You can also take multi vitamins but with the prescription of your doctor because they will advice you according to your hair type and requirements.
I do not wash my hair with salt water because hair becomes dull, tangled, rough feeling and can be hard to comb or brush out. If you have color in your hair, salt water damage would give it a very hard texture. So avoid washing it with salt water. Excess washing also damages hair because hair contains natural oil which keeps your hair nourished when hair is washed excessively it loses those oils and becomes dry that is why I wash my hair on alternative days. I use normal hair shampoo and conditioners because it keeps my soft and shiny. Another thing I wash my hair with normal temperature water because hot water makes the scalp dry and causes dandruff.
Excessive brushing of hair can cause split ends so I brush my hair once in a day. Also I don’t use others combs or hair tools because it unhygienic so when you go to salon’s make sure their hair tools is properly sterilized.
Hair trimming is very important it makes your hair grow faster and also makes it look healthy. I trim my hair every 6-8 weeks.
Being a model, hair styling is an important element of my field so I would like to share some of my tips. I always tell my experts to use minimum hair spray on my hair and I avoid to using too much hair products on my hair.
Back combing is essentially done in hair styling and many people are afraid of doing it because they think I will damage their hair but if it is done properly then it can’t be much damaging. I always ask my hair expert to do light back combing and also I tell them not to use hair spray instead I prefer using hair mousse because hair spray hardens your hair and it becomes difficult to open it later. To open up back coming I put a lot of conditioner first and leave it in for 15 minutes then I try opening it with my fingers after that I shampoo my hair and then again apply conditioner and open the knots with my finger if some of the knots are not opening leave it like that, wash your hair and let it dry then open the knots. Do not use comb on wet hair because hair is at its delicate state when wet so there will hair breakage.
Always use hair protector before using any heated styling hair tool because it protects your again against the heat.
I use egg whites as a hair mask on my hair twice a week and in summers I use yogurt. If people are suffering from alopecia (is a loss of hair from the head) they can use ginger and garlic water on the scalp, It is very useful and make the hair grow again. Take ginger and garlic in equal quantity, blend it and strain it, use the water on the bald areas. I also take keratin treatment after every 15 days because keratin is a type of protein which hair is made of so this treatment provides nourishment to hair. Sometimes when I have dandruff issues is use apple cider vinegar and it is very effective. After you have shampoo and conditioned your hair, Mix 2 table spoon apple cider vinegar in a bucket of water and just rinse your hair with it.
Hair fall remedy
Take half a cup of ‘amla‘ powder, add to it two tablespoons of castor oil and one full egg and make into a smooth mixture. Apply on the hair and the scalp, leave on for about 30 minutes before shampooing.
For hair fall you can also prepare a mixture of 1 cup of your daily conditioner and 2-3 tablespoons of honey. Apply this mixture evenly on your wet hair. Leave it for 30 minutes and wash it off thoroughly. This mixture will close down your hair’s cuticle and give your hair that amazing shine.
