Summer 2016 Jewelry Trends

Dolce and Gabbana to Saint Laurent ….the run way has been taken by storm, with a key piece for every show stopping look being the tiara. Originally a piece which symbolises wealth and status but todays fashionistas don’t need to be royalty to rock the tiara. All you need is confidence and to be prepared that all eyes will be on you!!

Last summer’s hottest accessory is still the rage and is the choker is the only neck candy you will ever need. It’s all about vamping your neck and taking your look to another level. By far one of my must have pieces and one I won’t be putting away for a while. From velvet (my fav), metal, rhinestone, leather which adds edge to any outfit. Do make sure its worn with something that exposes your décolletage so you have a good balance in skin to fabric so it doesn’t look like one piece. For a major dupe alert then tying a piece of raw ribbon around your neck will be the cheapest and most instant way of being in trend.

Body Jewellery

Is definitely the hottest summer trend, perfect for your summer get away or festival celebrations.

The Eternal Pearl

Styled into statement chokers at the Chanel Airlines Fall show. Pearls are definitely worth the investment, they suit everyone and can be accessorized with pretty much any look you have in mind.

Louis Vuitton 15 reintroduced this trend which has continued to inspire Spring summer 16 collections with the likes of Dior, Loewe and Givenchy who have taken this sculpted piece and making the lobe alluring once again. We can admit to have all owned a pair of hoops small or bird cage once upon a time. Never underestimate the minimal but strong presence ! Last season’s ear cuffs are to be placed back of the draw… or used as a brooch instead!
